Here at InstaCare Systems we are all very keen to help promote understanding of mental health and in particular dementia. We know that it is all about helping everyone to understand the condition and seeing that sometimes it is the small things we can all do that help those with dementia. The more people understand dementia, the more we are all able to help make sure those with dementia can carry on with their daily lives, with a sense of inclusion in their community, for as long as they can.
Which is why, every member of our team has become a “Dementia Friend”. It really is very easy for you to become a dementia friend too! All you have to do is watch a short video or join an information session near you, where you will learn a little bit about what it’s like to live with dementia. Plus, it will help you see how to turn that new understanding into action.
So, keep an eye out for our staff wearing their “Dementia Friend” badge with pride, just like Gail our Sales & Marketing Manager in this photo!
